Nurse practitioners and doctors with several years of experience should have the equipment, vitamins, and medicines to care for an unborn baby or a newborn. Ask them if they have an intensive care unit that can care for you or your infant if there are complications while giving birth. If the health care facility has a pharmacy, then they should also be able to supply you with any medication that the nurses or doctors think that you need to help ensure the health of your baby.
